Growing rapidly with bright future under new owners
Pros
- The Private Equity firm (Francisco Partners) has countless experience in carve-outs and it shows based on how rapidly Boomi was able to pivot from Dell and adopt policies on their own in a timely manner. - Boomi is incredibly remote-friendly -- there's been no pressure to return to office and all employees have been given WeWork memberships for flexibility in environment and location. - Everyone at Boomi wants Boomi to succeed, and I can tell that everyone I've encountered truly wants me to be successful in my role. - While I'm always wary about new owners (i.e. layoffs), Boomi is trying to hire over 800 new employees globally while other tech companies are instituting hiring freezes. - While I can't speak for all managers, my leadership team has been very hands-off in a positive way, trusting me to accomplish my goals.
Cons
- No cons so far. Boomi migrated to new systems (i.e. Office to Google) so there's some expected growing pains, but I know we'll get the hang of it soon enough.
