Pros
Booz Allen has a very strong name in government consulting; I have heard on more than one occasion that Booz Allen is the most respected name in government consulting. The people I work with are knowledgeable and cordial. I have not worked alongside anyone who stabs people in the back to get ahead. Everyone works together to get the job done right. The workforce is young and diverse and Booz strives to develop your knowledge so that you can become an expert in your field.
Cons
Booz Allen – like many other consulting firms suffers from continual turnover. Many people only stay 3 years. Unfortunately the glass ceilings at Booz contribute to this issue; After Associate (level 3) it is very difficult to jump to level 4 and beyond. But then again not many people want to manage or deal with getting contracts, and the level 3 position pays a nice salary to boot.
