Management decisions seem to be overly focused on the near term results (maybe a result of going public). Big hiring push one day followed by termination letters a quarter later. Recent shift to "hoteling" works for some, not for others.

Has become a branch of the Fed. Govt. WAY too much internal paperwork and BS. The assessment process is a nightmare, and the "GO team" support function now drives the company, rather than those who serve clients directly. Client delivery has suffered as a result, with more and more reasons not to do something, and less and less risk taking. The split from the commercial business is when it all started to fall apart, and the efforts now to reenter this market are humurous. Going public was the final in the coffin of a flexible responsive firm. Regrettably, while Booz was a great firm for a long time, I do not see a bright future.
