Pros
The training is top notch and the people around are smart and are happy to help you out. I just started working there (about a month) straight out of college. The fact is you have to network to get on the best projects, but there are plenty of opportunities for growth. The ECAP plan for 401K is great - Booz doesn't match but instead gives you around 10% of your salary each year in a 401K plan (roth is an option, 5 year vesting plan). I really like the fact that everyone is happy to help and listen to you when you are knowledgeable about an area. Travel around the area is something you will definitely do, but how much varies by project.
Cons
At the lower levels pay is definitely below what you would get working in commercial strategy consulting but it evens out after a few years.
