      Great place to work with opportunities for growth and advancement.

      Pros

      There are tons of opportunities for advancement and growth within the company. Senior management seem to actually care about mentoring and helping new staff members to grow. The education benefits are great and the classes within Booz Allen are helpful as well.

      Cons

      The Global Operations team sends tons of emails that tend to be fairly useless. Also if you aren't located in McLean or a bigger office then it is harder to stay connected.

      Pros

      Flexible working arrangements, bonus money at the end of the year and extremely helpful information sharing. Working at the Mission Valley office is a great location. With brownbag lunches that have food supplied to after work happy hours and events my management team makes an active effort to keep us all happy off hours as well as on hours.

      Cons

      Sometimes promotion path is not always clear. Working at the SPAWAR location really has many downsides and prevents you from participating in many of the positives of the company. The secrecy associated with salaries and promotion actions is discouraging at times. It seems as if you sometimes have to leave the compnay and come back to get a higher pay scale.

      Pros

      Company has great reputation among the tech companies. You will be well recognized as you are working in Booz Allen. Also, many projects are stable. People tends to work here for long time, and that makes work environment like home. Also, we have generous profit sharing.

      Cons

      No clear career path for technical people. If you are techy and not a management person, then it is not clear to be promoted next level. I guess level 3 (Associate) is the last level you can get up to.
