They take too long to backfill a position and then once they start the process they will take almost anyone they can get without ensuring its the right person for the team, which is very detrimental when filling a management position.

Poor management and business decisions. Morale was also at rock bottom during my time, things were cancelled constantly and the director was incompetent (luckily he was replaced). My manager would take random half days off without telling anyone and would sometimes just sit behind me and watch me work while making snide comments. What really pushed me over the edge was when I had to stay late into the night to fix a test stand on my wifes birthday. That stand then went on to remain untouched for the next two weeks. Unless you are fresh out of college and desperate for a job take anything else.
