Pros

The Co-Op program at Borg Warner definitely prepared me for what would come when I entered the industry. They do a very good job at introducing you to a corporate environment. Every single person that I had the chance to work with was very nice and really wanted to see you succeed.

Cons

Management is very old at Borg Warner, so they aren't the most progressive company in the world. Also, when I had concerns about a certain design choice, some of the full-time engineers would agree with my concerns, but when I would bring those concerns to the manager, I was always met with a lack luster answer. I am fine with being wrong, but I didn't get enough information from management to know why they went with a certain design choice. The management of the department I worked is why I decided to not return for a third rotation. It is a great Co-Op program, but I can't see myself working there full-time.
