Pros

The health and retirement benefits are great. The pay is some of the best in the area. Overtime is available much of the time.

Cons

Some of the shifts are very long and pretty brutal making for a poor quality of life outside of work. If you have a family life it is hard to balance both work and family with some of the shifts. It seems as though there is not much supervising going on and some employees take advantage of this, not doing work and slacking off and making it frustrating for others and this can be very stressful at times.

Pros

- If you're an engineer and want to work in Asheville, this is one of 2 choices - Perfect if you're a Manufacturing Engineer and want to work in a nice plant

Cons

- Engineering is nearly an afterthought. The group as a whole commands no respect at the site. - Top heavy organization with far too many managers and directors with no one working for them - Arden isn't Asheville
