      Pros

      Bosch’s aspiration for financial independence does have some benefits with respect to perceived stability. Hard to say if it’s a “pro,” but if you’re interested in doing little, you can find plenty of little to do and just say you’re “aligning,” but this is not a real pro.

      Cons

      Compensation is dramatically below average these days. You can make the same amount as someone doing 100x less than you. Corporate politics has ballooned dramatically at Bosch in recent years. No one seems competent anymore. A lot of your experience depends on your local management. People are more concerned about visibility and what their management thinks than what their customers think, then wonder why they don’t have customers staying with them.
