Pros

The people I work with are great, the products are generally well perceived, and generally people are well treated. Bose, being a privately held company, has been fairly stable

Cons

The upper management at Bose makes a real effort to walk the talk of respect and fairness. Unfortunately, not all middle management takes that to heart. There is more political intrigue and nepotisim then there should be, or needs to be. There is a management practice duJour mentality that permeates this company. If six sigma is good, seven should be better. I don't know, maybe that's in every company

Pros

Working for Bose gives you an inside look on how marketing is working on its best. If you like to play politics and the use of your elbows to get a better job. This is your company! Of course a wellknown brand like Bose always looks good on your resume on your way to the next company.

Cons

It is all about politics and how you find your way to the management. Hard working or talented employees are mostly not recognized or rewarded for what they do. In most cases these people leaving the company looking for a more fair working enviroment.
