Pros

Bose is full of smart people working ina culture that prioritizes people, respect and collaboration. Most people work 9-5 so I’d say work life balance is easy/good.

Cons

Bose tends to cultivate long term employment which sometimes leads to a lack of diverse, global thinking and a lack of urgency and drive. Sometimes it’s hard to find people who are deeply passionate about what they do and willing to do what it takes to overcome obstacles to success. The culture of respect can constrain the ability to be honestly critical about problems and weaknesses.

Pros

Good work life balance. 50% off all products as part of employee discounts. Talented employees.

Cons

Senior leaders and the CEO lack vision and focus for how to drive this company towards profitability. Reorgs happen every couple months, which leads to low morale and employees taking on more since they never backfill roles. People stay for 30+ years and only those receive recognition, even when it’s not deserved. Zero diversity and openness to fresh perspectives
