Pros

Strong brand. Innovative, good culture, and very smart people. Some of the best coworkers I've ever had. Department manager is great. Work-Life balance.

Cons

Upper Management is clueless with the work being done at a lower level. Recent round of layoffs introduces many gaps in the company that hasn't been filled. Company shifted focus drastically and harshly, which results in broken processes and inefficiencies. The "new Bose" does not follow the values that the company was founded on. Bose is becoming like any other average company to work for.. with increased outsourcing of jobs and upper management that does that understand the business or people. As always, Bose has also been struggling to keep up in a fast changing industry and evolve their technology.

Mental Midgets

Pros

Not many, unless you like banging your head against the wall, listening to management, (supposed managers) tell you only what they think you want to hear.....and is opposite of reality, knowing that management does not and will not listen to the people pounding the ground, and that BOSE eliminates the most value added employees and keeps the real mental midgets that cannot be trusted, cause dissension and haven't a clue about business or their own responsibilities. BOSE excels in "crisis management"...... management is reactive not pro-active.....which always ends with BOSE getting caught with their shorts down and ends up costing the company plenty of capital. One manager wasn't even man enough to show up with the president of the company who held a meeting to tell an entire division that they are getting the shaft......don't let the door hit you where you sit on the way out....that's all. And later this manager, MM cried because he did not receive accolades, which he wasn't at all due, while brilliant engineers received theirs for there hard work into new technologies. Behavior that is very prevalent in our society and business these days. Wouldn't want him backing me up in my military days, for sure.

Cons

See above ...should be enough said?
