Pros

This company has a real commitment to people. Bose folks past and present continue to support each other for years, career wise and personally. I see it happen on LinkedIn and socially, it's honestly amazing. One of the most welcoming companies I've ever worked at. Great benefits, pension and 401K match, generous time off, home office stipend and equipment support, understanding and supportive work culture. Flexible remote/hybrid schedules. Amazing facilities at the office.

Cons

Financial struggles and the inertia of being an old and R&D committed company makes the future uncertain for Bose. Layoffs are always a possibility due to the realities of being in this sector. Performance reviews can get kind of intense, but also keeps management honest because they go through even more intense reviews. I received good career guidance from my managers and mentors, and worked hard to pass it along to coworkers and new folks.
