      - Great people to work with - Exciting products and technology - Decent benefits including a pension plan - Excellent work life balance

      Cons

      - Lots of changes with outsourcing of key functions which results in workforce reductions -Uncertainly over job security - Poor executive level management communication leads to rumour mongering and poor morale

      Pros

      I am fortunate to have a boss who is knowledgeable and passionate about the work of the group, was down to Earth, optimistic and easy to talk to. Bose products were undeniably great, many employees were passionate about the consumer electronics market and some were musicians. Pay was competitive with other companies.

      Cons

      No Cons when I was laid off in 2010 (not 2013) except I was suprised and had worked there 19 yrs and 10 months. I know others who work there and things have dramatically deteriorated since leaving. I was very disgruntled then since I was laid off via a phone call. But I work at Apple now, so I feel fortunate that they laid me off (it woke me up) and avoided seeing my employer deteriorate around me.
