Pros

The best reason to work at Boston Ballet is purely out of love for the art form and for the company name

Cons

The pay is humiliatingly low. cleaners make more hourly than a pianist who has trained decades to be playing at this level. The disgustingly low pay rate speaks loud and clear about how the company undervalues its employees.

Senior leadership in some departments (not all) is terrible and serious management problems are swept under the rug or completely ignored. School leadership is especially toxic. High turnover/good employees leave Low pay Little career growth
