Pros

Smart people who are good to work with and interesting work. Particularly at the most junior levels there is a huge opportunity that would not exist in "regular" jobs.

Cons

Culture is generally good, but you do have to be careful about certain offices. For example, the leadership in office like DC, Atlanta and Texas are very, very focused on revenue- so they are more likely to force you onto projects that may not be a particularly good fit with you/ your interests or skills. In addition, there has been an increasing push on "transformation" projects which can mean being stuck on boring, never-ending process oriented work that doesn't necessarily drive skill development (but does make lots of money for the partners).
