      Cons

      Very tight pyramid; opportunities for advancement are very political. You are dependent on the goodwill of a handful of senior people to get choice assignments and fast promotions

      Pros

      The BCG Brand is second to none in the marketplace and gives you the type of access to subsequent career opportunities that you can't find anywhere else. You work some of the smartest people in business.

      Cons

      The work life balance leaves a lot to be desired and the promotion process can be very political. There is very little opportunity to be different - you either fit in or you will face a glass ceiling relatively early in your career. They could significantly improve their diversity and put more focus on helping to develop a broader base of recruiting, so everyone isn't so similar.
