Pros

Good healthcare benefits, leadership development programs

Cons

High leadership turnover in some lab departments, no work-life balance. Was expected to be responsive 24/7, sometimes even on vacation.

Uneven Culture.

Pros

A world class safety net hospital. If you enjoy managing residents and interns, this is a good fit. Excellent health insurance, and steady exposure to new and innovative programs.

Cons

It is difficult to integrate into Hospital. The work culture is uneven; some programs are great places to work, while others leave frontline staff strained. Management is lacking, peers undermine each other, acting outside one's role, gossip, gaslighting and scapegoating are common.
