      Great Place to Learn but Chaotic

      Pros

      Great place to learn, structured, great benefits/vacation package, and you make a lot of awesome friends. Hospital has a great mission and gives you sense of purpose. Lots of potential to grow within healthcare and ability to stretch your potential.

      Cons

      Poor pay, union environment, work horse mentality, no work life balance, poor people managers who don't understand the patient demographics. Chaotic and stress become your norm.

      Exposure to a wide variety of medical situations that give you an experience you can't get just anywhere.

      Cons

      Promotions often given to people who don't deserve it while others who work very hard don't get any notice. The comment of " that's just the way it is around here" seems to be the norm instead of trying to make things better.
