      Boston Medical Center is a wonderful organization, but I did not have the best experience due to my immediate managers.

      Pros

      BMC has a great benefits package, including free health insurance. Individuals who want to work with a safety net population will get to see all sorts of health issues not experienced in better facilities.

      Cons

      BMC is on the precipice of collapse; it is broke and may trip its bond covenants because of the high rate of uninsured individuals who receive care here (BMC does not receive reimbursement from the state for these individuals, so it hemorrhages money in their treatment).
