If you work in CA you don't get to partake of their Summer Hours program and there are no alternative benefits so you literally lose out. If you are an hourly employee there is no work/life balance at all. Even if you can do 75% of your job from home they will not let you work from home at all meanwhile you will see others at your same level in other States that ARE able to work from home so it really depends on your Manager but they will blame it on someone higher than them for not allowing you to work from home at all.
