Pros

Great culture, great products, great is you want to work in medical device.

Cons

Cons are that it is a big company and while some devices may have that small company feel, not every division is like that.

Good Pay… If You Survive It

Pros

Good Pay… If You’re Okay With Being Treated Like a Machine

Cons

Management: The management team feels completely disconnected from what actually happens on the floor. Feedback goes unheard, and any concerns are usually brushed off or met with vague promises that lead nowhere. Their main focus is hitting numbers—not how it impacts the people doing the work. If you're struggling, expect zero support. Just more pressure. Workload & Conditions: The work is physically demanding and relentless. You're expected to pick and move at high speed all day with little room for error. The system is clunky and prone to mistakes, but those mistakes will somehow be your fault. Breaks feel too short for how exhausting the shifts are, and forget about a consistent work-life balance if overtime is on the table (which it always is). Pay & Overtime: Here’s the catch—the pay looks good, but only after you've pushed yourself through ridiculous amounts of overtime and feel like you're running on fumes. It’s basically a trade-off: your time and health for a decent paycheck. If you're young, fit, and don’t mind feeling dead tired every day, maybe it’s worth it—for a while. Overall Experience: Boston Scientific might look appealing on paper, especially with the promise of good pay. But once you're inside, it’s clear that burnout is built into the system. If you value your body, mind, or a basic sense of being appreciated—this probably isn’t the place for you.
