      This company makes a device that potentially saves people's lives. I was excited to be part of such a wonderful company.

      Because it affects people's lives, there are a lot paperwork and redtape, which can be frustrating when you as a worker can't move as fast as you think you should.

      Exiciting new products and innovation makes this an interesting industry. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

      Many unqualified and inexperienced managers make this a difficult place to work. Promotions are at the whim of senior management. many hardworking and talented people are ignored, while unqualified people are promoted over experts. Certain divisions are run in a dictatorial fashion with no balance or crosstrained senior management, as a result people have no recourse to air their grievances without fear of retaliation.
