      Great products, industry going through change and that's reflected in the company's direction

      Pros

      the company still attracts great people, who are fun, talented and care about the products they make. Flexibility in work fairly good. Great products, its rewarding to see those that receive the products and see how their lives are improved.

      Cons

      not alot of reward or recognition at individual employee level. Decisions made in Corporate based on short term financial reasons, there is a continual fear of job instability, lay-offs and lack of career potential so that hampers employees too--too bureaucratic.

      Pros

      BSC makes products that help people and is a huge company with excellent benefits and fair wages. The company has seen its peak, probably, but doesn't feel like it is sinking. Hopefully they can maintain competitiveness and continue innovating.

      Cons

      It is a large company and it is really easy to be simply a number and not be recognized for effort. You really have to play politics and fight for recognition.
