Pros

So BSX finally cleared the last regulatory hurdle and closed its takeover of your company. You get introduced to a transition team and get a big warm welcome to the family and learn all about the company culture. That's all well and good but pay attention to the date they give for when they will announce their assessment. Layoffs can commence rapidly and likely not stop until the last man standing. If BSX is strong at anything it's making profit quickly in the M&A game.

Cons

Middling severance package. This company doesn't create shareholder value by giving away money and fostering goodwill to future ex-employees. Can't be mad but there's your 2 stars.
