Pros
BSC is patient-first. Many say it, BSC actually does it. BSC is caring. My managers were amazing. My teams were great. BS is flexible. Pre-pandemic, WFH was accepted, those with kids were given leeway to work in a way that suited them, etc.
Cons
Salary varies wildly by division, so it's essential to negotiate aggressively upfront or you will potentially be underpaid until you transition to a new role internally. Middle management is abundant. Enough said. Advancement, especially in the comms / digital space, is essentially non-existent unless you move to a different division.
