Pros

The benefits are good. It is a stable environment and I had a manager who was very supportive of me taking classes while also working full-time. There is a good work-life balance.

Cons

My department is very hierarchical, which sometimes makes for a not so nice working environment.

Staff are positive and proactive. Went out of their way to make processes work that might not have been communicated well at first

Cons

Automated ESS (Emlpoyee Self Service) system is extreme in its complexity)...Convoluted security coupled with an obscure approach to navigation makes what is fundamentally a major asset to the university and its staff a little more of a hurdle than seems necessary
