Pros

Getting hired, especially if one has work study, is a relatively quick process, and there are many jobs available, as well as online resources to find positions. Most departments are flexible in working around academic schedules.

Cons

Expectations are low for student workers, there is little to no on the job training and very few competent supervisors. Management seems to be a problem, and no one enforces basic job etiquette or interpersonal skills.

Pros

big city environment, professional and helpful professors, open atmosphere, opportunities to meet great alum and learn from them

Cons

compared to NYC, I guess Boston is still lagged behind, and also I wish I could have been more tortured at school, sometimes I guess BU could make its students busier.
