Pros

Depending on the department there's lots of flexibility regarding schedules and working from home. Tuition remission was why I wanted to work there.

Cons

Hard to get a job. Many of the positions are filled by people who are unqualified but have been working in the department. The pay is really low.

Pros

Less intensive and cut-throat (research wise) than other better-ranked business schools. This can both help and hurt. Perhaps an easier teaching load than similarly-ranked business schools.

Cons

With the exception of certain departments within the school, the research environment is not ideal since many (most) Senior faculty are not active researchers.
