Pros

Decent pay and time off.

Cons

Unable to use pto when requested. Favoritism for days off. Poor management and micromanaging practices with no pm to keep track of work. Management unaware of work and stress levels. Said stress was all in my head but had no clue the amount of work I was doing. No acknowledgment for one year of service. No one on ones for over a year. Not included in meetings but expected to build solutions without being in the critical meeting. Felt pushed to resign after stating concerns. Manager states is their way or the highway and needs a 360 review done. Monthly pay. Lies to about coming on site and recertification options.

Pros

lots of nice students and a good location

Cons

Expensive parking, expensive housing, really poor quality professors, very old and out of touch professors teach most of the classes. It will be hard to learn anything relevant. The younger ones are not much better. I don't think they know anything about business or ever had a real job.

Pros

Challenging work, some very intelligent colleagues, excellent benefits,

Cons

Slow-moving bureaucracy, the well-endowed university not putting $ into staff salaries, focus on faculty (which makes sense) - - but the staff is often poorly treated.
