Pros

One of the best benefits working for BT is the work from home policy.

Cons

No training. Very little information and communication from upper management on the direction of the organization. Organization doesn't take the time to connect with the employees.

Pros

Great people, great teams, smart developers, strong collaboration.

Cons

Too many commitments, too few people to complete them! Management's commitments are far from reality!

Pros

Remote work was nice, coworkers outside management were a pleasure to work with, got a chance to meet the CEO a while back and he seems like a great guy.

Cons

Management does not make it clear what their expectations are. They are constantly introducing new 'metrics' to show what you are doing poorly, but never to tell you what you are doing well. Essentially using scare tactics to make you work harder. You end up being expected to work nights and weekends in order to keep up, and even that won't be good enough after a while. HR is called "People Success" for some reason, and the one thing they care the least about is your success. If you approach them with concerns about your job, they will tell you, and I quote "It's your job, you just have to deal with it", followed by "If you don't like it, you can quit". Direct quotes. I feel more successful already. This is just a symptom of the larger problem though, all of the management team is only in it for themselves. Hard to blame them in an environment like that, but I do feel like they need to be held accountable to that. If you deal well in extremely stressful situations that don't reward very well for dealing with that stress, then, by all means, sign up.
