The company needs to still do more to retain talent, especially in the post pandemic world where hybrid and work from home opportunities are readily available for those of us who already have work experience and degrees. It’s noted that Bozzuto has recognized this and taken our feedback into account when making decisions, however they are still very slow to act, and need to do more. For example, a few months back they announced on Wednesday we would have admin hours and the office would open later at 11am. Everyone was excited to have 2 hours to catch up with admin work, without the constant interruptions we deal with working on-site. Then suddenly they announced without much clarity that this was postponed. That’s a huge disappointment. The company should also allow for 1 work from home day for employees that want it.

Long weekday hours (9-hour day, theoretically with a 1-hour lunch) for an office position (shorter hours but same pay on weekends). Onboarding process is good but subsequent training, especially technology rollouts, need improvement. The nature of the job requires weekend availability, constant multitasking, and a lot of emotional labor; this are not necessarily flaws, but are important details to be aware of in order to set realistic expectations.
