Pros

Everyone is friendly and is a great looking group - groomed to impress.

Cons

The executive team is incredibly manipulative and if you don’t look the part and act the part, they will terminate you. If you don’t fit their culture (meaning, hide truths to clients), in their most passive aggressive way, they will find a loophole to get you out. Image is the most important trait to them - whether it’s the look of their people or them drowning a luxury community with their overpriced Bozzuto branding. Witnessing talent who executed get overlooked was incredibly frustrating. Their message is that you are disposable. The industry of 3rd party management is small, we talk and there are people sharing similar stories with the same nonsense reasoning for termination. Do not do it - at least in the NJ/CT/NY region unless you do not want a seat at the table, uninvited by the MD. Queen of puppeteering and by far the worst in the industry.

Pros

Excellent opportunity for those interested in sales, marketing, or property management. Organizing resident events adds an enjoyable dimension to the role. The tasks are straightforward, making the job relatively easy. The appeal of the apartments/luxury buildings speaks for itself.

Cons

The rampant favoritism within this company is truly staggering. The promotion process appears to be highly subjective, often placing inexperienced young individuals in managerial roles where their lack of people management skills is glaringly evident. Adding insult to injury is the fact that the pay is exceptionally low. Even with an employee discount (which varies by property), the salary is inadequate for comfortably residing in the building where you work. Furthermore, dealing with entitled residents who believe their inflated rent entitles them to mistreat staff is a recurring issue. If property management aligns with your career aspirations, this may be a suitable path. However, for those seeking fair compensation and opportunities to develop both hard and soft skills, there are likely better options elsewhere.

Pros

Many properties to work at, Fast accrued PTO, and the opportunity to make a difference in someone's life. (residents)

Cons

Poor compensation. Overworked. Management is disconnected from employees. Very cliquey, and emotional well-being is not considered. A toxic work environment with managers not being able to manage their temper or be respectful and minimal support on day-to-day
