Pros

-Excellent support system and training within the company -Very hospitable culture in the corporate office or if you are working on site -Top-tier benefit package -They put the employee first which makes the environment very welcoming and easy to adapt to -Large opportunity for upward mobitility within the company, they believe in growing their own talents and rewarding people for hard work. This is very hard to find in public or very large companies -Company seems to be growing all the time - the amount of properties managed in DC has jumped greatly since I started here three years ago -Overall, just a fun place to work!

Easy to take vacations, lots of employee activities, ability to get up from your desk, work hard and get a promotion, the company is growing, corporate is very helpful and responsive.

Cons

You will have to work most weekends, bonus structure is not as great as it used to, owners can be a pain.

-Great Benefits -Support, feedback and recognition from supervisors -Transparency in company -Bonus structure related to how well my property is performing, as well as other perks (gift cards, parties, etc) often -Coworkers who are genuine, nice and have similar goals -Tremendous room for advancement

Cons

-Some openings are very popular and competitive depending on the region you'd like to work in -Some weekends required -As with any position in property management, if you don't like people, it isn't the job for you!
