It’s a relatively easy job. You answer calls, handle packages, interact with residents and help with resident events. The pay is good and you’ll get bonuses almost every month. They also have great benefits. They are a pretty understanding work place.

Cons

If you aren’t a people person I won’t recommend working here. You spend about 80% of your shift interacting with somebody There also wasn’t any training for my roll when I started. Random things were show to me as the issues arose but it was hard to navigate what I didn’t know. You’ll fall into the swing of it once your use to it.

Don’t work at new properties

Usually work with great people. Meet good residents.

Cons

Average pay rate, poor management. Misinformation. If you work at a brand new property just know that the property will have no money and this will affect multiple things. Do not expect bonuses that other property concierge may receive. Expect that there will be little to no opportunity to pick up shifts.

Better Training Processes for New Associates

Bozzuto provided the best salary compared to my prior management company for such role.

Cons

Specific to the community I worked at in DC. Management did not prepare a training plan outside of the standard onboarding classes - which were great. However, the basics of the community and learning Bozzuto systems aside online training was not ensured throughout my first couple of days. When I approached anyone for assistance, just about everyone including the PM gave a nonchalant attitude towards the concerns I raised.
