Pros

Braille is a top-notch company to work for with a good compensation and benefits package. One of my favorite aspects is the culture. One of the best in that regard that I have ever experienced in a workplace. Everyone is so friendly and kind. They also take great pride in their employees and promote career development so that everyone can be the best they can be. The Occupational Therapy staff are all very helpful and it is all about being a team - even if your workplace is miles away from each other. I feel appreciated and supported and consider this job an amazing opportunity.

Cons

I do not have any cons at this time.

Pros

The Braille Institute is in the middle of a powerful transformation. Under the leadership of our CEO, Jim Kales, the organization is expanding, innovating, and moving with purpose. There’s a renewed focus on excellence, accountability, and mission-driven service. It’s a place where you can grow, be heard, and truly make an impact in people’s lives.

Cons

Some in higher positions still operate from outdated mindsets and resist change. This slows momentum at times, but the culture is shifting.

Pros

Strong mission based work; legacy organization (106 years in existence!) in SoCal. Great leadership and team members across the org. Good/competitive benefits and salary.

Cons

More people need to know about our work. We've been a best kept secret for too long.
