Sold to Booz, Outlook Grim

Pros

Braintrust was a great place to work. We had good pay, good benefits, a great company culture, and plenty of contracts to choose from if needed.

Cons

Everwatch bought the company a year ago. Everwatch is now sold to Booz Allen Hamilton. Any future at the company seems bleak unless you love the culture of Booz Allen Hamilton. I cannot imagine the pay and benefits will remain much longer, though they promised not to touch anything for a year.

Pros

Highest salaries in the industry. Monthly company sponsored events such as happy hours, oriole games, raven games, picnics, ski trips and more. Excellent healthcare with zero deductible, company pays 50% of the premiums. A large education budget. Over 25 contracts including two recent prime contract wins. 10% 401k contribution no match needed. Paid by the hour with no limit to how much you can work.

Cons

I can not think of any cons at this time. Braintrust is truly a great company to work for. Couldn't be happier.

Pros

Extremely flexible hours depending on which project you may be assigned to. Outstanding benefits package. Probably on of the better ones in the industry.

Cons

Very rare to see any pay raises in your first few years of employment, although their initial salary offers are usually very high to begin with compared to industry averages.
