Cons

Dangerous work environment in the labs, lab techs are overworked, staff aren't personable.

> Company vehicle with gas card. > Housing either paid for or provided by company. > Annual bonuses.

Cons

Always on the road for work with little structure and security. Very common to not know what project you're going to be on next, where it will be, how long you'll be there, when you'll be home next, and the cycle just continues. Work is highly weather dependent all year with significant seasonal variations (lots of people laid off during the winter). Low salary in relation to the work load performed and sacrifices you have to make. Huge lack in future opportunities.
