The salaries are competitive, the product is good.

Cons

Braze is a toxic workplace. The corporate culture is oppressive and very political. Hidden layoffs, burnouts, and a culture of fear prevail. Employees are fired within an hour and being deactivated from Slack. Leadership prioritizes profit over people, with draconian HR/legal procedures. Save yourself the stress and disappointment, and look elsewhere for employment.

Platform is really making strides in the market and eating into larger players' marketshare such as Salesforce, Emarsys etc. Company culture focuses on employee wellbeing, community, social giving and diversity

Cons

Toxic team cultures are not addressed well enough and those who raise red flags are penalised. Poor work life balance associated with scale up culture - if you're feeling overwhelmed with the workload, you are just told to manage your time better and accept that stress/demanding pressures are a part of working at Braze.
