      Benefits and pay were good.

      Cons

      No care from upper management. Ridiculous behavior from director level employees that was encouraged by senior management.

      Pros

      Overall Braze as a company is great. There are great leaders to partner with across the business and their partnership makes you feel valued and like you’re making an impact in the business. Great benefits. Pay is average (at or above 50th percentile).

      Cons

      Complete lack of change management within talent team and the changes are too frequent and large for the team to be operating this way. Every few months the team goes through a major change that affects everyone. Tons of reinventing the wheel because TA leadership isn’t strong at the top. With all the change the team culture has gotten blurred and there’s not much respect for work life balance. Expect slack messages at all hours of the day and night.

      Pros

      Some of the people are incredibly empathetic, supportive, brilliant, and fun- if you get on one of these teams, it'll be the best job you'll ever have!

      Cons

      Culture has changed dramatically in CS over the last few years- it used to be an environment where everyone worked hard, helped each other, and called out team wins. Now (especially on the NYC teams) it's all about getting your name on a "flashy" project and saying the right things to leadership so you get promoted. Leadership says they want to hear feedback and constructive criticism, but VP+ just want to hear how amazing you think everything is. Comp has always been low but the culture used to make up for it- not anymore. You can easily make $30-40k more at other tech companies with culture/benefits that are just as good.
