Culture beware

Pros

Money. They pay above average.

Cons

The culture is toxic. Meeti ga with no real purpose. Lots and lots of polical games and relationships; growth in career is directly aligned to how much tou can suck up. Very old school style of management. Practically no diversity in senior management.

Glad to hear you are enjoying the compensation! Sorry to hear you feel poorly about the business culture, diversity and management. We offer a lot of education and training for our associates and leaders. We have also been selected as 1 of 349 included on U.S. News & World Report's 2023-2024 Best Companies to Work For.

Pros

Remote, competitive pay, most people fairly nice* *See cons

Cons

My former manager was extremely "nice" when she informed me that I would now be reporting to my (male) colleague with less experience and education than myself (female). She even sent me a birthday gift! /s Back to the main issue though, when I pointed out this discrepancy, I was advised to "help him" learn the ropes of management. I did check my calendar to make sure it was indeed 2023 and NOT 1970. Once that was cleared up, I noped right out of there as I was not particularly interested in taking on that task. Got a pretty significant raise from leaving so everything worked out. Still sucks to have experienced this though.
