Pros

If you don't mind sitting all day listening to peaple scream at you over the phone, this is the job for you.

Cons

Training is very bad. After 3 months, there was just one other person and myself left out of a class of 15. People quit out of frustration because they are thrown out onto the floor and don't know what they're doing. The atmosphere has a high school mentality.

Pros

My manager was fantastic. When I asked how to help him (and myself) advance, he looked for a promotion for me in another division since it was not possible in mine. Intelligent, kind, collaborative management.

Cons

Limited career growth opportunity, but that was a long time ago (1999). I did appreciate that my supervisor was honest enough to present the available options, regardless of how limited they were.
