      Pros

      Okay compensation and some friendly coworkers.

      Cons

      Poor work life balance priorities (had to work weekends to meet impossible deadlines due to poor project management) New hires are below the bar. Especially offshore hires which are becoming the new norm. Causing more work for the very amount of onshore engineers. No accountability, everyone blames others. Everyone is stretched too thin and this is being normalized.

      - Good pay & compensation - Great work/life balance

      Cons

      - Not enough managers (my team didn't have a manager for a long time) - "Hurry up and wait" is pretty extreme. You're waiting for work, bored out of your mind, and then all of a sudden they need a huge feature done instantly. Only the staff engineer (ie the fastest engineer) gets to do anything exciting - Design is contracted out and actively unhelpful, causing never ending bottlenecks - Toxic engineering teammates aren't called out by management - Not enough work to do in general - Sexism
