Pros
Lots of great experiences working with NYC’s street homeless population that expanded my world and contributed to my professional development, ability to set my own schedule & take lots of breaks.
Cons
Pay is lower than industry standard (starting at $18.95/hour with 35-hour workweeks), co-workers were adversarial, direct supervisor was a micro-manager, upper management was not responsive to our complaints but was instead condescending.
