Pros

They seem to have a track record of promoting from within. Good company culture that I've experienced thusfar. Work feels purposeful . Colleagues are amazing.

Cons

The salary isn't the most competitive , it seems to trend on the lower end for most positions. No Self Directed Options with retirement savings

Pros

The organization is a life line for many. At Street to Home Manhattan if you are not a minority, just got out of college, have no idea what to do with your life and look down on homeless people or poor people, this organization is very willing to pay you to reinforce your beliefs.

Cons

The endemic prejudiced present in the organization out weighs tarnishes any good the organization can do. 22 year olds with no work experience are treated as more qualified than adults with experience, skills and willingness to work in the social services. Their right to treat the place like a stepping stone is valued more by management than providing services to clients.
