Pros

Bridgestone lives up to the values it advertises - which is rare for a company this size. They truly do care about teammates, and invest in people through professional development, great benefits, challenging projects. They have a strong focus on DE&I, and everyone here is free to be who they are. There is a lot of potential for growth in your current career path, and even opportunities to try a new path if that's one of your goals. Leadership is open to feedback and new ideas are welcomed. There is a lot of engagement with the community and volunteering, and a genuine "family first" attitude.

Cons

Since the different departments/groups/teams at Bridgestone are given so much autonomy (which is a good thing), there is a lack of standardization for processes and structure that can be confusing and inefficient at times.

Pros

-Great pay -Great benefits -Great culture -Great opportunity for career advancement -Lots of long-time employees, due to all of the above ⬆️

Cons

I’ve been in a situation both when hiring employees, and when taking a promotion, that internal promotions are limited on the pay increase to x %, whereas when hiring new employees/if a new employee was hired to take the positions I’ve applied for, higher compensation would have been offered so as to sweeten the deal and get the prospective employee in the door. A real slap in the face for employees that I’ve had, and kinda crummy when you get the promotion and are hoping for a bigger pay raise.
