Pros

Overall, this is a great company to work for. They care about their teammates and community and are constantly trying to improve. The benefits are great, the pay is acceptable for the market, and there are great teammate resources as well.

Cons

Unless you're in a technical/STEM position, new job opportunities can be limited, so career growth can stall.

A big company that walks the walk!

Pros

Bridgestone lives up to the values it advertises - which is rare for a company this size. They truly do care about teammates, and invest in people through professional development, great benefits, challenging projects. They have a strong focus on DE&I, and everyone here is free to be who they are. There is a lot of potential for growth in your current career path, and even opportunities to try a new path if that's one of your goals. Leadership is open to feedback and new ideas are welcomed. There is a lot of engagement with the community and volunteering, and a genuine "family first" attitude.

Cons

Since the different departments/groups/teams at Bridgestone are given so much autonomy (which is a good thing), there is a lack of standardization for processes and structure that can be confusing and inefficient at times.
