      Pros

      I have worked for this company for 19 years, and although it has been a rough ride at times, we have toughed it out as a team.

      Cons

      Things have changed dramatically in the last year. Almost everything is different, and most of the longer term employees have left. We just barely got SAP in place, when they decided to move the office to Nashville.

      Horrible management that never "walks the walk"

      Pros

      pros would be that we now have three days off from this terrible place since the change of the shifts from five eight hour shifts to four ten hour shifts.

      Cons

      Management says one thing and does another CONSTANTLY. Work ethic doesn't matter at all.

      Pros

      The people were the best part of Firestone. I felt like I was making a difference every day. Very good pay and bonus potential. Great location for operations.

      Cons

      Over the past 2 years, morale was at an all time low, because of decisions made by management (local and in Indianapolis). In January 2016, 3 of the 4 Metal plants were shutdown, and several people in the Anoka office lost their job. The process was very demeaning and uncaring to many of these people, and I lost all respect for this company I once was very proud of. I was lucky enough to have the education and the skill set to leave the organization, and find another place of employment.
