      Pros

      Smart coworkers. Everyone you work with should be >90th percentile for their role, or they shouldn't be there. Good work life balance for back office roles. Great pay. Amazing benefits. People actually care about doing their work well.

      Cons

      If you just want a paycheck, you won't do well here. You have to want to be excellent at the work you do. Everything is transparent which isn't for everyone. People get fired a lot for being less than excellent. Working at a hedgefund is a rollercoaster. When things are going well, it's great. But they can go very poorly too.
