Since going public the culture has completely changed. Every small issue is an emergency & employees generally expected to work outside of our standard hours. Leadership used to be caring & personable but has now entered full on corporate mode. C suite leadership has a tendency to micromanage & override business recommendations based on how they feel in that moment & anecdotal data despite so much time, care, and analysis being poured into our recommendations & presentations. Along with the shift in day to day culture all of our perks have gone out the window. We used to enjoy a generous employee discount - this was removed without any warning or explanation. We are promised unlimited PTO but are actually capped at 20 days yet do not get paid out days if we leave or have days rolled over into the next year if not taken. The company is also pushing AI extremely hard with no clear plan to track our usage & it's environmental impact like we do with commuting for example. This does not align with our sustainable mission. My coworkers & I are exhausted and fining little motivation to do the work we once loved.
